🐓 Exciting Updates at CJ’s Stable!

Image
We’ve been busy behind the scenes giving our website a little extra love — and we’re so excited to share some updates with you! Our Meet Our Herd page has been completely refreshed. Now, each of our horses has their very own page where you can learn about their story, their personality, and what makes them special. From our gentle seniors to our playful young trail horses, every one of them is part of our CJ’s Stable family. We’ve also added new ways to connect with our horses — including the ability to “buy a treat” to help support their care and feed. Every treat purchased goes directly toward the horses here at the stable and helps us keep them happy and healthy year-round. Whether you’re visiting for a trail ride, a sleigh ride, or just following along with our updates, we’re so thankful for your support and love for our herd. šŸ’› Check out the new pages and let us know which horse’s story made you smile the most!

šŸ’• Best Friends for Life

Image
Buster, Storm, and Beau — three best friends who have spent nearly their whole lives together. Buster and Storm are both 30 years old, and Beau is about 28. They’ve shared countless rides, adventures, and lazy pasture days side by side. Even now, they still do everything together — where one goes, the others follow. There’s something so special about watching their friendship after all these years. šŸ“šŸ’› True friends really do grow old together.

Fall Trail Ride at CJ’s Stable!

Image
Even with a little rain yesterday, the trails were absolutely stunning. The leaves beautiful — golds, reds, oranges, and still some green everywhere you looked. There’s something about riding through the woods in autumn that feels peaceful and grounding. The horses moved quietly through the leaves, and the drizzle just added a little extra sparkle to the day. Fall in Northern Michigan doesn’t last long, but views like this remind us why it’s one of the best times to ride. šŸšŸ“

A little Update 🐓

Image
Hi everyone! I Just wanted to share a quick update from our barn family to yours. As you know, our horses are truly part of the heart and soul of what we do here. Recently, we’ve had a couple of our beloved equine partners—like Johnny & June—reach a well-deserved retirement. They’ve given so much love and joy on the trails, and now it’s their time to take it easy and enjoy some peaceful pasture days. What this means for us is a little bit of a transition period. Because of these changes, we’re temporarily scaling back the number of riders we can accommodate on each ride, and not currently booking wagon rides or taking winter sleigh ride reservations Until we can find the right partner to join our team and pull the larger sleighs & wagons with Baby ⭐. We will still accept reservations for our small 2 seat bob sled.  We know this might be a little less convenient for those of you used to larger group rides, and we truly appreciate your understanding and patience. We’re ...
